About Music : Started singing in the church
choir at the age of 9 years. At teen-age, I
continued in the choir and also joined the praise and worship
team, which I’m still actively involved even now.
Albums : I have four albums. The first one
was released in 1996 and the current one in 2003 with the
following titles:
1st Album
Ngwihitha thakaneini (1996) – Kikuyu
This song is an expression of my desire to hide under the
blood of Jesus, where there is the true rest and peace, based
on Psalms 91:1-4, “He who dwells in the secret place
of the Most High….”
2nd Album
Ninduite Itwa (1998) – Kikuyu
This song talks of my decision not to defile myself
with the compromising world, but to stand as Daniel, Moses
and other saints did, having a pilgrim’s mentality.
It is based on Hebrews 11 and Daniel 1:5 “But Daniel
purposed…”
3rd Album
Hail Africa (2000) – English/Swahili/Kikuyu
1) Hail Africa – This song brings hope
to the continent of Africa. God has not forgotten us. He is
counting on us to usher in the final harvest for the kingdom
of God.
2) Uciu ni Jesu – This song talks about
Jesus being the Lion of Judah, the bright and morning star,
the Lily of the Valley and the fairest of ten thousand. John
saw him as having a face that shines like sun, hair as white
as wool and eyes like flames of fire – based on Revelation
2.
4th Album
Njata (2003) – Kikuyu
1) This is more of a prayer, where I am asking Jesus
being my Morning Star to shine over my life, for His light
is not like the worldly light, but is a transforming light,
then I’ll be able to finish my cause, even as the prophets
and the apostles did.
Motto: Psalms 103:1-2, “Bless the
Lord, oh my soul and all that is within me, Praise His holy
name…”
2) Otauria Jerusalem
This is a declaration to the devil that even as mountains
surround Jerusalem, so the Lord Jesus surrounds my heart.
Even though I would walk through the longest wilderness, I’ll
fear no evil, for the Lord is with me. It is based on Psalms
125:2 and Psalms 23:4
