Grace Wanjiku is a 9 years old girl, now in grade 3. She was brought at the centre by her grandmother. This was after the death of her mother who was the sole bread winner in the family 5.
The single mother was abandoned by the father of the children many years ago. This led Grace’s mother to do every kind of work that came her way including prostitution in order to feed her children. This later led to her contracting Aids. She finally died after ailing for a very long period, leaving her children at the care of their aging grandmother.
Grace has been at the Centre for the last 4 years we thank God for this once rejected child, but now a champion of Africa.
